To keep the original Active Sound System. Before ordering try to disconnect the battery of your vehicle. Sometimes this also helps to get the sound working on vehicles with a sound amplifier. If that doesn't work then you probably need this cable.
Please note, this cable set only fits in a Quadlock plug, so not in an old ISO plug.
