Do you have a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda with dynamic parking lines that move when you steer? Then you'll need this cable to connect the camera to a new car radio.
For this type of camera, the camera plug is connected to a module in the trunk. You disconnect the plug from the module and connect it to the AVN-C100 cable. Then, you extend the cable to the dashboard so you can directly connect the camera to the car radio.
Note: There are also interfaces available that allow you to connect an original camera without having to route an extension cable through the trunk. However, these interfaces only work if you have an original camera without dynamic parking lines.
Note: after connecting this cable the camera will work but the parking lines will be fixed and will no longer turn with the steering wheel.
Important: For vehicles on the MQB platform manufactured after 2012, no extension cable or interface is needed.
